Drop Your Pants 10 is October 10, 2023

10 years ago, Bob Sturm, a sports radio host for 1310 The Ticket, came up with the idea of "Drop Your Pants". This annual event collects clothes for the Cornerstone Clothes Closet and Shower Facility. We are back to collecting Clothes in person but will also gladly accept monetary donations. We will use the monies collected to purchase new socks and underwear and any other items that are needed to provide the homeless with basic necessities. The need for clothing at the clothes closet has not diminished, therefore this fundraiser is more important than ever. In addition to purchasing clothing items, the funds pay for repairs, utility bills, cleaning supplies & hygiene items.

This year we are back to collecting the following gently used items:

Mens Jeans

Cargo, golf and casual zip-up shorts

Long or short sleeve T-shirts, golf shirts and sweatshirts

Winter coats

Blankets

Backpacks

We only accept new socks & new underwear.

Ladies gently used coats

Regular & sports bras

We do not want suits, slacks, long sleeve dress shirts, ladies' clothes or kids' clothes. We serve the homeless so think of urban camping-type clothing.

Cost to give a homeless person a clean set of clothes is approximately $20.00
