Quick Summary
We seek to raise £40,000 (out of a £59,000 total budget, since the local community will contribute £14,000 toward the solar panels) to fund a community water tank (10,000 L) and a 6 kW solar power package (panels + inverter + battery) alongside a 3 HP pump, bringing clean, reliable water to 30 households with zero electricity bills.

The Full Story

Imagine waking up to an empty tap. Your children walk miles with heavy jerrycans, only to return with gritty, unsafe water. Worse, pumping that water relies on an expensive, unreliable grid.

Our sustainable fix is a two‑piece solution combining storage and renewable power:
  • Food‑grade 10,000 L tank placed in the heart of the neighborhood.

  • High‑efficiency 3 HP pump with multi‑stage filtration.

  • 6 × 650 W solar panels (≈3.9 kW total, 30,000 local currency each)

Water is no longer hostage to blackouts or fuel prices.

Detailed Project Budget (GBP)

The local community is contributing £14,000 toward the 3 HP pump and part of the installation labour, so our GoFundMe target is £45,000 out of the £59,000 total budget.
