The Episcopal Diocese of Western Mass Mission Trip to the Dominican Republic will be serving for their 5th year this summer.   We have been asked to visit San Pedro y San Pablo church, which is right in Santo Domingo.  This is in a very impoverished area called "La Barquita".  We will offer a day camp "Vacation Bible School" to their children, who have never had a chance to attend one before.  We'll have sessions in music, crafts, story with snack and games.  We also have a pre-school area.  We will be buying and distributing food to the many needy families in the area, as well as painting and repairing their school and church buildings.  Often many more needs are discovered when we arrive.  How much we can help depends on our fundraising efforts, so any help you can provide is MUCH appreciated!!
