Amy (Fames) was diagnosed with grade 3 invasive ductal cell carcinoma December 7th , 2018. She fought the cancer like a champ, had her last chemotherapy in March of 2020, and her breast reconstruction surgery in May of 2020. Health was renewed, and there was much to be thankful for. Recently Fames had been experiencing shortness of breath, and was discovered to have fluid in her lungs. The fluid was removed a few times, testing began, and Pete and Fames headed to the hospital in Denver for specialized care. Fames at this point is about 30 weeks along in her pregnancy, so this adds a special dimension to her treatment plan. Testing revealed, that indeed the cancer has returned. At this time it is known to be in the lymph, lung, liver, and brain. This is very difficult news, but they have been given much strength from God to continue to trust in his good care. We want to support them in anyway we can, there will be many trips back and forth from Denver, and on-going care needed for the kiddos at home while she begins treatment! They have expressed the great support they have felt already. May God renew her health again!
