Driving to Improve

Hi Everyone.

I started go-karting in 2021 because my other friends that were ski-racers and came from a family of Olympic racers said it might help my line in ski racing, and it is very fun and FAST.

I fell in love with the sport, but I barely have any time for it because I am always training as a Ski Club Vail athlete. This year I did really well at skiing, but I never had any time to go to the Go Kart track.

I want to be prepared like I am when I compete in a ski race when I go. In my first go-kart race in 2021, I came in third place. My go-kart is pretty old (2013) because I can't afford a new one, and it is always breaking and buying new parts, so any extra money that I have I spend on go-kart parts.

I would like to purchase a drive simulator that has all of the Colorado go-kart tracks loaded onto it, so even though I can't practice on th track very often, I can still come to the go-kart races, prepared.

My parents spend a lot of money on my skiing, so this other 'hobby' is something I must pay for myself.

Thank you very much for even reading this. I appreciate any amount you can give. I will work my hardest skiing, racing, and finding the most efficient race line.
