Driving for Ukraine
Donation protected
Hi all,
My name is Oliver Ansell-Hodges and I’m a student at the University of Warwick. Since 24th Feb 2022, Ukraine has been a cause close to my heart. The intensification of recent attacks on Ukrainian civilians, including my friends and loved ones, has motivated me to step-up in helping those affected.
On 9th May, I’ll be driving an SUV on a 1,300-mile journey from Warwick to Leżajsk, on the Polish-Ukrainian border. I’ll be part of a convoy of local volunteers from Belveder and LKQ Euro Car Parts, delivering vehicles stocked with humanitarian aid for the frontline and civilian populations alike.
To contribute towards the costs of organising, supplying and maintaining humanitarian aid channels, I’ll be raising £1000 - all funds will be donated to Belveder to ensure our aid operation can go ahead in early May. The transfer and spending of the funds will be published in the interests of transparency.
Any support, whether words of encouragement, sharing this GoFundMe, or donating to the cause, is greatly appreciated. Your efforts will directly change the lives of civilian communities under attack every day.
Thank you for your support.
