Hi again everyone – Привіт ще раз, усім!
Following the last convoy, in February I'll be driving a Mercedes Sprinter ambulance out to Kyiv with around 30 other volunteers and 12 other vehicles.
As most of my supporters know, the September convoy went really well, with all the vehicles and aid being delivered safely. You can read a full write-up here. Thank you once again for supporting this in all the different ways you did, not least financially.
As I mentioned in the latest update, I kept the fundraiser open because there's no shortage of need for aid. Since then, the situation has evolved. The so-called leader of the free world has stepped back from the conflict, Europe has not convincingly stepped up, and there's no end in sight or even a clear pathway to an end yet.
In Mostyska, the city just over the border where we handed over our vehicles and aid to our Ukrainian partners, Mayor Anatoly told us that 80% of those who supported Ukraine at the beginning of the full-scale invasion had moved on. Other stories are filling the headlines.
24 February 2026 will mark the fourth anniversary of the Russian invasion. Convoy4Ukraine is planning to drive five or six ambulances (highly in demand) and several more 4x4s, again filled with medical and humanitarian aid, to our partners in Lviv and Kyiv.
All being well, we will arrive in Kyiv just before 24 February - hopefully alongside a number of other aid organisations.
Once again, the vehicle is already paid for, and drivers pay for our own accommodation, food, and fuel on the way. Anything donated goes entirely on aid. If you felt like sending a few pounds this way instead of a Christmas present this year, that would be very welcome.
Thank you - дякую!

Hi everyone – Всім привіт!
My name is Guy and in September I’ll be driving this 2004 Mitsubishi Shogun Sport over to Ukraine alongside around 16 other vehicles, with Cambridge-based charity, Convoy4Ukraine.
A little way over the border, we hand the vehicles over to their new drivers. This is organised by our partner charity, Sunflower Network, who makes sure they go where they’re most needed. Vehicles are used for evacuations, delivering medical supplies, and other humanitarian work (non-military), since they’re able to travel on damaged roads and bad terrain to places that are otherwise hard to access. The rough rule is that every 4x4 saves around 50 lives.
Several people have already generously asked if they can help, so I’ve set up this page to crowdfund for medical equipment and aid requested by our Ukrainian partners – including generators, power banks, tourniquets, field dressings and other vital supplies.
100% of everything donated will go to a good cause. I’ll be paying for my own accommodation and flight home.
Thank you – Щиро дякую!
UPDATE 21/7: Following some extremely generous support the fundraiser has flown past its initial £1,000 target. Every donation can be put to good use (there is, sadly, no lack of need) and so I have raised the amount.
I've been consistently surprised and encouraged by people's willingness to support this cause, at a time when Ukraine seems to be falling out of the news. A HUGE "thank you" to everyone who has participated.
