Drive for Derv

Hi all,

2 years on from the incredible generosity shown to Dervilla from our original fundraiser, "Do it for Derv" we have relaunched our campaign.

Brain surgeries, multiple Biopsies, further surgeries, countless hospital stays and the intensity of her epilepsy. Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy. And long term hospital stays, multiple TIAs, to name but a few things that have happened on this journey.

Dervilla needs intense rehabilitation to get back on her feet again. This involves speech and language therapy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, along with multiple MRIs and doctors appointments in her hospital in Beaumont. She has been through an overwhelming amount of issues these recent years, and the long term effects are still uncertain.

Dervilla's doctors have linked up with doctors in John Hopkins hospital in the USA to help increase her chances/help delay or prevent a reoccurrence of her tumour.
