We’re Drip Happens Sweets & Treats, a new vision with a passion for sweet treats, good vibes, and building something that brings joy and opportunity to our community. We started Drip Happens as a way to share handcrafted chocolate-covered fruits, dipped pretzels, and refreshing fruit drinks with our neighbors in Montgomery County, Maryland — but it’s so much more than just treats.

Drip Happens is a dream turned vision — a business built on love, creativity, and the desire to give back through flavor, fun, and jobs. Our goal is to launch a storefront where people can enjoy unique snacks, drinks, and a welcoming environment — and eventually grow into a full franchise that creates jobs and inspires others who’ve had a tough road, like us.

But right now, we need help.

Despite our hard work and planning, we hit a major setback. Due to a past situation where one of us was deeply betrayed by a family member, our credit was damaged — and now we’re ineligible for traditional small business loans. We never imagined we’d have to share something this personal, but we want to be honest. We’re also working part-time and doing everything we can, but we’ve started to fall behind on rent — and our landlord, who graciously gave us a break once, can only do so much.

We didn’t want to ask. We truly believed we could push through without having to make a public plea. But we’re at a point where we either ask for help or watch our dream fade away.

So today, we’re humbly asking for your support.

We are raising funds for:

• Startup capital (rent, equipment, supplies)

• Licensing and permits

• Marketing and packaging

• Hiring local help and creating jobs

• Securing a storefront in Montgomery County, MD area.

We’re not asking for handouts. We’re asking for a chance — a shot at changing our lives through something we’ve poured our hearts into. Anything helps — whether it’s $5, $50, or even just a share to someone who believes in small businesses and big dreams.
