Bridging the gap between the conscious and subconscious, Drifting is an independent short following a lost and lonely artist wrestling with her identity post-graduation as her dreams guide her through a passionate journey of self-discovery forcing her to confront her overwhelming sense of uncertainty.

The Drifting team plans to tell this story through the dreams of Em—our protagonist—seeing her hopes, ambitions, and fears without ever watching a moment of her waking life.

Em is a confused and hesitant young woman whose life is currently up in the air. She will be played by Kelsey Brown.

Chlo is a strong, free-spirited, and outgoing young woman who serves as the embodiment of who Em wishes she could be. She will be played by Skylar Fast.

To include our community in our deep passion for this project, we are utilizing the GoFundMe platform for our fundraising goals. These funds will help:

- Elevate our film with new equipment that has been inaccessible to our team.

- Make our vision come alive through elaborate set & costume design.

- Encourage wellness for our team by providing hospitality services, compensation, and emergency preparation.

We’re collaborating with skilled members who’ve had their heads in the filmmaking world one way or another, despite dedicating themselves to many other walks of life. Their dedication of time is invaluable, and we are excited to produce a film that lives up to their dreams too.
