Drift-Ability 2019 is an event organised by D1WA to get special needs and disabled persons of 16 years or older into High-Powered Drift Cars to experience some adrenaline filled Passenger Laps performed by experienced drivers.

 

We will be raising funds to cover any and all event expenses, with all profits going to the Ability Centre - Coolbinia WA

Last year we raised ~$1800 and took over 50 passengers out for rides.

We plan to smash that out of the water this year, and hope to make $10,000 and take over 100 passengers out this year.

Ability Centre is a not-for-profit disability service provider that has been supporting Western Australian families for more than 60 years.

The Ability Centre are committed to providing their customers and their families the services and supports they need. Ability Centre supports people living with cerebral palsy, autism and other physical and intellectual disabilities.

Their innovative and responsive services can be provided from early infancy through to adulthood. They believe that building a strong relationship with the family, is the key to reaching potential.

Ability Centre has built its reputation as a leading disability services provider by providing excellent service, allowing our customers to thrive.

Being a non-for-profit organisation, The Ability Centre require as much help as they can to fund new equipment and support staff to help those with physical and intellectual disabilities

On the closing of Drift-Ability 2019, all funds will be calculated including donations on the day and will be directly handed over in person to the Ability Centre in Coolbinia, as well as a trophy cheque made to show the support Drift-Ability has for such a fantastic organisation
