In Memory of Dr. Richard Harte

Friends and family, 

It is with tremendous sadness that we inform you of the loss of our husband, father, brother, Papa, and dear friend, Richard Harte. Of all the things that could have taken him away from us, it was a part of him that we never thought could fail: his heart.

Throughout his life, and even in the end, he remained true to his guiding principle: persistence. Please find comfort in the fact that he never gave up, and neither did we. He died peacefully surrounded by his family, friends, and so much love. 

Over the years, Dick wore many hats.  His latest professional passion involved mentoring young entrepreneurs as part of the FAU Tech-Runway program. His focus was on one of the most overlooked (but important) issues faced by young entrepreneurs: sales. His psychological studies in evaluating personal characterstics, which are critical to sales success, such as persistence, helped him to coach and guide these young entrepreneurs.
