Connor sustained a grade 3 multifocal splenic laceration with medium volume peritoneal hemorrhage (internal bleeding) and a tiny hole in the top of his left-side lung. Connor was inner tubing on vacation with his family and fell off the inner tube going 63 miles per hour. He fainted a few hours later and was rushed to the hospital via ambulance in Page, Arizona. After multiple tests were conducted, he was airlifted by helicopter to the hospital in Flagstaff, Arizona, where he was treated by a trauma surgeon. Luckily, he did not need surgery, but was required to stay in the hospital for a few days where he was closely monitored. Fortunately, he was discharged from the hospital and has been recovering at home! If you can, please donate to help cover his medical bills; he would be so appreciative!
