Wheelchair accessible van

Hi , my name is Sandra Galway. August 24th 2024, I had a bad fall accident. I fell down 11 stairs landing on a concrete floor, I tried to get up but I couldn't my legs felt like concrete. I tried to yell out but my voice was so weak , I then started looking for something to make noise with and found a piece of plank on the edging of the concrete wall, I grabbed it and started banging it down with my hand once I heard someone upstairs. Finally someone heard me my husband,brother and friends came rushing , they called the ambulance ( I knew I was paralyzed).

I was rushed to the hospital they done some x-rays and explained to my family I had a spinal cord injury. I was then rushed into the health science and met with a surgeon, he explained the procedure to us. after surgery was over the dr came and explained what he had done. I was fuzed at C2-5-7. T2 incomplete meaning I am paralyzed from my chest down.my heart broke into a million pieces. My life changed forever I went from being independent to dependent. I spend almost 4 months in hospital/ Miller Center. So I'm doing this go fund me page to help raise money for an wheelchair accessible vehicle so I can have a since of freedom of going places and doing things with my family. as my only transportation right now is by an ambulance to get me to my appointments.
