I tried to send thank you messages but kept getting an error message. I figured I would add it here instead.

Greetings! I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for your generous donation that you made following the loss of Drey Davis. Your kindness and support have been a source of comfort and strength during this challenging time for us. Your contribution is a beautiful testament to the spirit of generosity and community. It not only honors Drey's memory but also provides significant support to our family as we navigate this difficult period. We want to express our heartfelt thanks for your thoughtfulness and sympathy. Your kindness will always be remembered. Let us continue to spread kindness and support to those who need it. Thank you for being a shining example of compassion and generosity.
Warm regards,
Angie, Allyson, and Cairo

I felt the need to make an update as the funeral and celebration of life expenses started to add up. We have spent the last couple of days finding a perfect location to place Drey. As you may know, burial sites and arrangements for funerals are extremely expensive. The love everyone is showing will provide Drey with the celebration he deserves. In addition, we plan on creating a scholarship for young musicians. After funeral expenses and medical bills are paid, we will work with a team to get started on this. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. Allyson, Cairo, and Rhythm will keep the local community's love for music alive and well.

Hello, my name is Angie Day, mother of Allyson, proud mother-in-law of Drey, grandmother of Cairo, and unborn Rhythm. I don't have words right now, but I know this family needs help. I have been waiting to start this GoFundMe because we don't ask for help. I reminded myself that not asking for help landed us here in the first place. On Tuesday morning, after feeling ill for almost a year, Drey was informed he had leukemia. It has progressed to brain bleeds in just a few days, and he is now holding on to life. If you can help pray, that would be appreciated. Drey and Ally purchased a house a year ago, and their daughter is due in 10 short weeks. Drey taught school at a beautiful private school, taught music lessons, and constantly had gigs to provide for their family. They now have no income, and this was Drey's biggest worry. On Tuesday, Drey said to me. I am so sorry, Miss Angela; I was trying so hard to provide for my family that I didn't go to the doctor. He has always put everyone first. He loves his family and God.
