Drexel Jhalak is one of Philadelphia’s premier, all female South Asian dance teams. We fuse together various styles of dance including Bharatanatyam, Hip-Hop, Bhangra, Modern, and Bollywood to just name a few. Every year we travel across the country and showcase our talents at various competitions, performing against other collegiate dance teams. This year Drexel Jhalak will be traveling to Illinois, Michigan, Massachusetts, and South Carolina in hopes of sharing our beautiful culture and showcasing our passion for dance. None of this would be possible without the love and support of our family and friends!
These funds will be used for our team's competition and production needs. Competition needs include registration fees and hotel costs. Production needs include set design (costumes, props, etc.) and DJ Fees.
