Drew's Recovery

My name is Drew, and I am a victim of assault. On the night of Saturday, January 27th I was brutally assaulted and stabbed multiple times by an unknown group of thugs in dc. I fought for my life and was able to survive. I have gone through multiple surgeries and endless procedures. I was stabbed in my back which ruptured my kidney, in my spleen and on my side. I have currently been in the hospital for ten days now. This experience has taken a huge toll on me mentally and physcially, as I am traumatized from the inicident and still dealing with excrusiating pain. However, one of the large burdens I will never be able to recover from is the expense. I've been told it will take me at least two months to recover, which means I cannot work, and my car has been totaled due to my friends rushing me to the emergency room and crashing it on the way. I currently do not have any medical insurance or form of income, and I would greatly appreciate any help during this difficult time.
