On July 16, Drew Pike, a 39-year-old looking for daredevil ways to celebrate his upcoming 40th birthday, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, not quite the birthday plan he was looking for. Already Drew is experiencing intense pain from the cancer, and the overall survival rates over one year for this type of cancer are in the single digits.
Andrew will likely not be able to work and will also likely have plenty of doctor, chemo, radiation treatments, etc. If you are looking for a practical way to help, consider donating to help Drew and Jess out with any unexpected costs that may come up or just a little extra cash flow for gas money or just ordering dinner in when things get overwhelming.
