On Sunday, July 24th I will be competing in the Ironman at Lake Placid, NY in honor of my cousin, Drew Kelleher, who passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on December 20, 2021. The Lake Placid Ironman is a long-distance race that consists of a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bicycle ride, and a marathon 26.2 mile run through the Adirondack Mountains. I will be competing alongside Drew’s dad and my loving uncle, Dan Kelleher, who has been an inspiration to me and the entire Kelleher family (…and whose “training” regimen has consisted of nursing a fractured leg and avoiding any runs!).

While nothing can replace Drew’s presence in this world, his family has established The Drew Kelleher Foundation to support select charitable organizations as a way to remember Drew.
