Drew Hart’s Road to Recovery

Hi everyone! My name is Izzy and I have organized this fundraising page for the beautiful Hart family. As many of you know, Drew Hart was recently rushed to the hospital in cardiac arrest. Multiple blood clots and pulmonary emboli were found, but they were too large, and he was too unstable for them to be managed with blood thinners alone. While undergoing surgery to remove the clots, Drew suffered a massive stroke as well. After several days on a ventilator, ECMO, tracheostomy placement, and multiple brain surgeries - he is finally on the road to recovery. That however, is not cheap. The Hart family survives on a single teaching income, and the hope is that Whitnie will be able to take the necessary time away from teaching to best advocate and help care for Drew.

Whitnie and her family would be grateful for any help provided, but do not expect anything. Whitnie’s main request is that

everyone continue to pray - God has already worked some pretty amazing miracles in Drew’s recovery thus far

The money raised will go directly to medical bills, rehabilitation services & equipment, and anything else Whitnie and the children may need in this time (including food, gas to and from medical facilities, etc.).
