We lost a great man with the passing of Mike Bradeson, a husband, father and longtime college football coach.
Bradeson was an assistant coach for Nevada from 1986-91 and again from 2010-16. A Bay Area native, Bradeson attended Contra Costa College before playing at Boise State, where he was part of a I-AA National Championship team. As a coach, he also had stints as an assistant at Boise State (1981-85), Cal (1992-95) and UNLV (1996-2009).
He impacted the lives of hundreds of student-athletes and was known as a kind and genuine man who cared deeply about the those around him.
On behalf of the Bradeson family – his wife April and his son Drew – we are raising funds for the establishment of a college fund for Drew.
