Drevyze was involved in a very serious hit and run accident on Thursday night, October 24, 2019. He was doing what kids are supposed to do - play on a nearby playground with his younger cousins and friends on his first night of fall break. Around 5:30 PM, a vehicle ran the red light as Drevyze and his cousins were crossing the street in the crosswalk - and hit Drevyze (10), his 6-year-old cousin, and his 4-year-old cousin - and then fled the scene, leaving three young children critically hurt in the middle of the road. The 6-year-old died, and Drevyze and his cousin are seriously hurt and in ICU at Children's Hospital.

Drevyze is a sweet, young 5th grader. He has a big personality and makes an impression on everyone he interacts with.
