DRES tha BEATnik still needs your HELP

Donation protected

Hi, my name is Dres tha Beatnik I am a Professional Host, MC, Hip Hop Scholar/Lecturer, Ordained Minister, and Human Beatboxer. However, for the past 4+ years, I have been living with Chronic Kidney Disease. Due to my illness, I have experienced some health complications that have made it difficult at times for Me to support myself. While I have been working extremely hard to get my health well enough to get evaluated for the Kidney Transplant List. During this period, I had a minor setback and was diagnosed with COVID-19. I managed through hard work and faith to get myself back to the levels needed to qualify for a Kidney Organ. I just received news that I have finally made it onto the Kidney Transplant List at Emory University Hospital. During my first GoFundMe campaign, I was able to successfully reach my goal but that was for Piedmont Hospital's Transplant Clinic but I wasn't able to make that ist at the time and it put me in a situation when I had to obey My Medical Team's wishes and do nothing for a period of time while I work to lower my Blood Pressure and stabilize the amount of Fluid that my body is allowed to retain. Since then I have managed to achieve that elusive goal but now I am involved in a different fight. While I am awaiting surgery I now have to get proactive about being able to Meet My 30% Financial Goal, when My organ becomes available I will be unable to work or be as mobile as I am normally accustomed to being. I am asking again for your help asking for donations to help Me get prepared for this crucial time. Donations will contribute to healthy food, transportation for out-of-state travel for surgery, and out-of-pocket medical expenses. Please give as much or as little as you can. And if you can't contribute financially, please send prayer and healing energy, I have patiently waited for 4+ years to get only halfway to my goal of having Healthy Kidneys. I desperately need help getting to the finish line. Thank You in advance.

UPDATE 6/2/23
LONG POST ALERT
#NotForNothingBut... What you're looking at is a piece of the home stretch of a journey that's taken 6.5 years and countin' to make. These are what's called 'FAST TRACK' confirmation appointment papers from Emory University Hospital where I am on the Transplant List! When I got the call I was nervous, shocked, and emotional to say the least. Imagine being in prison on a 25 to Life bid and out of nowhere you get told that you're getting out after only 6.5 years!?!?! Not expected but welcomed, grateful & most definitely humbled.
There have been so many nights I've laid in my bed wondering, thinking, questioning how did I get here? What am I supposed to do now? Why me? I didn't know the answers to any of those questions and didn't know when any of this was going to end. There were plenty of days and times when I've literally thought about quitting. Like, quitting for real, but, I have to keep a positive outlook on things and try to keep a smile on my face, which most days has been the biggest struggle of all just do that! But I'm glad that I did because I knew a day like this would come or at least I believed a day like this would come I'm just glad it's here.
Of all of the things that I am proud of during this transformative journey. One is seeing my only Daughter @ShantiTheCEO graduate college and the fact that I have continued to work during this chapter of my life despite what was going on with me physically I still don't know how I did it but again I'm glad I did. When this started I promised that I would be as transparent as possible with this process in hopes that it would help someone else try to endure whatever struggle they may be going through.
I'm beginning to feel the warmth of the sun on my skin after being in the cold and harsh conditions of darkness for all of this time it definitely feels great to see the light at the end of the tunnel. More to come soon. Thanks for reading. Whether you were there for me or not, Thank You very much, and as always #FOLLOWTHEHAT
