At the age of 10 I was introduced to Track & Field during the summer. Not knowing what I was getting myself into at the time, I just knew that I was faster than other boys and girls at my elementary school that I attended. Who knew at the time I was discovering my talent that the Lord was blessing me.

As a beginner, I started running the 100 and 200 Meter events before I was introduced to other events. Three years later I was introduced to the 400 meters and that was the best thing that could have happened to me. I have had the chance to experience numerous Junior Olympics Championships and compete with some of the best Junior athletes in the nation. Since then, I've had aspirations in life to make it all the way to the Olympics and preparing for the 2016 Olympic Trials gives me an opportunity to for my dream to become a reality.
I graduated from DeSoto High School in Desoto, Texas in 2011 and I was granted an opportunity to continue my education at University of Arkansas-Fayetteville through the means of a full scholarship in Track & Field. To this day, words could not describe how blessed and thankful I am to have had an opportunity to attend and graduate from the University of Arkansas with Bachelor of Science in Human Environmental Sciences in May 2015. I have gained so much experience, knowledge and success and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
