DREAM TEAM BARBER SHOP

Hello this is JAMIE from DREAM TEAM BARBER SHOP. I started this Campaign to raise money to open a NEW Barber Shop.
DREAM TEAM opened in August 2005 at 2 Adelphi Street in Brooklyn New York. We served the Farragut, Fort Green, Clinton Hill, and Bedford-Stuyvesant Communities, for 10 years before closing our doors for good, at the end of 2015. We completed our 10 year lease we signed and were told the Owner sold the building and the New Owner had other plans for the building. (Which seems to be happening more than often in this neighborhood). This is the reason we are trying to move into One Of These NEW BUILDING DEVELOPMENT S which are being built everyday in this COMMUNITY. Our Clients are from this part of BROOKLYN where BARBER SHOPS (small businesses) are fading away.
My goal is to put a Modern Barber Shop back in this Community that I served for over 30 years
I started cutting hair in Farragut in 1985-1989
Then PROJECT BARBERSHOP 1990-1992
Then MYRTLE'S HIS &HERS BARBER  SHOP 1994-2005
Then DREAM TEAM BARBER SHOP 2005-1015
Needless to say these SHOPS are NO LONGER IN BUSINESS
The Funds from this Campaign will go towards 2 months Rent, 2 months Security, Barber Chairs, Barber Stations and other Barber Shop Furnishings, and Marketing for the Shop.
