apARTE Festival is a chamber music festival in Rio de Janeiro that brings together selected young Brazilian musicians and invited international artists for a week of rehearsals, concerts, and artistic exchange.
The project is organized by our non-profit association based in Salzburg, Austria.
apARTE is built on one idea: talent should matter more than financial background.
That is why the festival offers full scholarships to all selected participants.

[Why apARTE is different]
Young musicians at apARTE do not only attend classes. They rehearse, perform, and share the stage directly with internationally active artists, in unusual and visually powerful venues.
[2025 in numbers]
- 7 public concerts
- around 1,700 people reached
- 20 full scholarships awarded
- 250 children reached through outreach activities
- more than 80 kg of food donations collected
- around R$37,000 in musical materials distributed
[What your donation helps make possible]
Your support helps us cover the essential costs that allow young musicians to take part regardless of financial means, including:
- accommodation
- meals
- local logistics
- travel-related festival costs
- the artistic and educational structure that makes the scholarships possible
[Why we are fundraising now]
The 2026 edition will take place from 14 to 23 August.
As the festival grows, some of the most important costs are also the hardest to absorb — especially those that allow invited artists and young participants to come together in one place.
If you would like to support a serious, non-profit project investing directly in the next generation of musicians in Brazil, we would be deeply grateful for your help.
Thank you for helping make apARTE 2026 possible!
