Hi everyone! Ever since I was young, I've always wanted to be a cheerleader. I thought they were so cool, spirited, and I wished I could be one. I've just graduated middle school and I tried out for my high school cheer team, and I got in! I felt like all of my dreams had come true, but now that I'm older, I know the reality of sideline cheer and any other sport in general.

Sideline cheer isn't considered a sport, so it gets no funding from schools or other places for uniforms, materials, transportation, etc. I realized this and the costs for everything add up very quickly, and I'm probably not going to go to cheer camp this summer because of the expenses. I would love to cheer on my school, but it might not even be possible without help.

I want my parents to have an easy time after all they’ve done and paid for me, and even though I’m only 13, I know that I should play a part in trying to chip in aswell. I know I have a privilege to even be in cheer, which I'm so, so happy for, but if I had even one donation, I would be extremely grateful! Thank you so much for reading this far!
