Who I'm raising money for

I am raising money for my Aunt Debbie and her family. In February 2018 Debbie had been diagnosed with colon cancer.  She under went a 6 month treatment and was found to be free of the disease. For the following year and a half, it was full of new adventures and a mind set of what really was important. During this time, her oldest son, Donovan, got married while the oldest daughter, Mackenzie, had Debbie’s very first grandchild, Everleigh. All the while having routine blood work, scans and meetings with the doctors to continue to monitor her health. However, recently through routine blood work there was a red flag and she was sent for a scan where they discovered her cancer has returned.  

This recurrence of cancer is being considered
terminal.  With a good fight, we are hopeful to keep her going for 2-3 years and we will absolutely take anything beyond that.   




Why I'm raising money

A few reasons...my Aunt runs an in-home daycare and due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she has lost a lot of business which has  financially impacted her and in light of the recent discovery of cancer coming back, I’d like to build a fund for her and her family to use to go on new adventures,  make more memories as we have all learned life is precious.
