We have been together for almost 5 years and for 3 of those years, we have been on a fertility journey that feels like there is no end in sight. We have been given very slim chances of starting a family on our own and IVF is our most promising option. Through all of the tests and obstacles, we still have hope that this can work and we are asking for your help in achieving the dream of starting a family.
Age and health issues are both things that are holding us back from starting a family on our own. This journey has been anything but easy, anything but simple, and now we are faced with the heartbreaking reality of the cost of this option... the option that provides us hope and a real chance at having kids.
Jeremy has always said that he wanted 19 kids because he wanted a big family, and Brittany always said that she wanted 2 sets of twins, but at least one had to have red hair! We have both had a dream of having a family our whole lives, from early childhood to now, and this process has been devastating, to be completely candid. It's emotional, it's turbulent, it's time-consuming, and it breaks you down at times. You wonder if you'll ever get there, how you will handle it if it's not successful, if you'll forgive yourself because maybe you could have done something differently if you had only known that this is what your reality would look like now... But even with all of the fears and doubts aside, it comes down to affording the treatment to attempt to overcome those fears, and that's where we are asking for help from our families, friends, and complete strangers that have it in their heart to help us at least try.
If you are led to donate, we thank you with our deepest, sincerest gratitude. If you pray for us, we appreciate you sending your support to the God that is controlling the outcome. Please share our story with whomever you can so we can move forward with our shot at starting our family.
Thank you all so much for supporting us. It means the world to us.
