Dreaming Beyond My Limits – Help Me for my Masters Please

Donation protected
My name is Mardhia Jamal Hussein, a 27-year-old woman born and raised in the Kurdish region of Iraq—a land rich in history, but scarred by war, inequality, and instability. I am a dreamer and a doer—someone who believes in change, even when the odds are stacked high.
Today, I stand on the threshold of my greatest opportunity yet: I have been accepted into the prestigious Master of Science in Air Quality Control, Solid Waste and Waste Water Process Engineering (WASTE) at the University of Stuttgart in Germany, starting October 2025.
But I can’t take this step alone. The only thing standing between me and this life-changing journey is financial support.
I come from a low-income family in a country where dreams often get crushed under the weight of crisis. Iraq's fragile economy and lack of opportunities have made survival a daily battle for so many. And yet, I’ve never let my circumstances define me.
With a degree in Petroleum and Energy Engineering, I’ve dedicated my life to building climate action, peacebuilding, and empowering women and youth. I co-founded the Green Dream Organization, a grassroots initiative that has implemented recycling projects, led environmental education for youth.
I have spoken on global platforms, represented my people with pride, and worked hard to lead change in communities that needed it most. But despite my passion and qualifications. This program is more than a degree—it's a launchpad for large-scale transformation. By gaining world-class knowledge in air quality, waste, and water process engineering, I can bring back scalable, science-based solutions to Iraq—a country devastated by pollution, poor waste management, and water insecurity. This is my chance to equip myself with the tools needed to lead climate solutions in a region that has long been neglected.

• ️ GYF Advisory Council Member – CSW68 2024/25 cohort
• ️ Youth Delegate – World Forum for Democracy 2024, representing Kurdistan and Iraq
These honors are not just milestones—they are a testament to how far I’ve come, and how ready I am to go even further with your help.
What I’m Fundraising For
To cover my first year of study in Germany, I need €11,398. This includes:
• Tuition fees (1684/semester – 3368 Euro)
• Health insurance (140/month – 1680 Euro)
• Accommodation (rent + utilities) (240/month- 2880Euro)
• Food and transportation (200/month – 2400Euro)
• Visa and travel expenses (500 Euro)
• Study materials and admin costs (450 Euro)
Every euro will help me take one step closer to my dream—of bringing back hope, knowledge, and sustainability to Kurdistan.
Every Word, Every Share, Every Donation Matters
If you’ve ever believed in the power of education, climate action, or gender equity—this is your chance to be part of a journey that embodies them all. Your support will not just help me study—it will help me give back to communities that need healing, justice, and green solutions.
Please donate, share, or leave a message. Your kindness could be the turning point for an entire region.
Let’s make this dream real—
For Kurdistan. For the planet. For every girl who dares to believe.
With deepest love and gratitude,
Mardhia Jamal Hussein
