My name is Carolina Granados, I am a DACA recipient who recently graduated from UCSD with a bachelors in Physiology and Neuroscience and have been accepted to Loma Linda University for the Master of Physician Assistant Program for this upcoming fall!
It is my goal to become a PA in order to provide compassionate primary care to those living in underserved communities. I hope to make significant contributions to the future of health care, which is not high technology, but people caring for people. As a physician assistant I hope to look beyond numbers and diseases and incorporate mental, relational and spiritual health into my care.
Unfortunately, DACA students do not qualify for student federal loans, institutional loans nor private loans as we require citizen co-signers. Today, I am facing the difficulty of paying for my tuition.
It is with a humble and hopeful heart that I ask for your support in my journey.
Any encouraging words, prayers or funds would greatly help me reach my dream!
Thank you.
God bless.
