Support my dream travel to Orlando Florida

Hello, my name is Christian Kampmann, and I am 32 years old. I was born and raised in

Denmark and I live in Copenhagen. I would be very grateful for your support for my dream

journey. The trip is to Florida (USA) in October 2024 and is for 16 days.

I contracted meningitis when I was 11 months old, which later led to cerebral palsy (CP). My

condition is slowly deteriorating, and today I receive 24-hour home care with overnight shifts.

I use a wheelchair and receive food through a feeding tube, which was implanted in my

stomach in 2022. I have respiratory problems, and over time, I am gradually losing control of

my body, experiencing more pain than before. The extensive home care means that I spend

a lot of time at home. This results in many hours in front of the screen, and often, I only get

out of my apartment 1-2 times a week.

Your support will make a huge difference and help me have some genuine life experiences. I

previously went on a 2-day trip to London to test if my health could handle such a journey.

My support team helped me without getting paid, and my family covered the cost of the trip,

which is not possible this time. Furthermore, it is a big desire for me to go on this trip, while

my health allows it.

I love everything related to Disney and all of the classic Disney movies. I spend a lot of time

watching Disney+, before I go to sleep at night, but also during the day. I really want to

experience the magic of Disney up close in Florida and combine it with relaxation.. I haven't

been on a longer vacation since I was 13 years old. This trip to Florida will give me a break

from my everyday challenges.

The fund will cover:

● Renting equipment

● Airfare and hotel

● Transportation and food

● And the salary of my four helpers.

I have always had a big dream of visiting Disney World, Universal Studios, Harry Potter, The

Simpsons, and the Kennedy Space Center. Due to the long and demanding journey, my wish

is to travel for 16 days to get the full experience.

The trip is estimated to cost approximately 28,400 US$, and I am working on raising funds

through various channels. I really hope that your contribution can make the crucial difference

that allows me to fulfill my big dream.
