Hi, my name is Cathy. You may all know me as Poppy’s foster.

Backstory…

Poppy came to me on March 30. I was to foster her as a favour to the rescue with potential to adopt if she meshed with my family (and 2 dogs). She was rescued from a horrible life in China last year. She is approximately 2 years.

The day after I got her, she bolted out the front door unknown to me that she was a flight risk.

I posted that she got out on Facebook and was told to call Ken Price from the Dream Team Search and Rescue. We chatted a bit about Poppy and he was at my house within the hour.

For the next ten days, we would work together to find poppy. Ken and his team would work into the wee hours of the morning (4:30am) everyday. They were determined to get Poppy home.

Their commitment, patience, knowledge, kindness is unmatched. I can’t thank them enough.

As many of you may have heard the Dream Team, you may not realize that they are 100% volunteer based.

I would love to repay them so they can keep their agency going. There is so much equipment they use not to mention their time and effort.
