Dream Studies - University of Waterloo First Year

Hello, my name is Daniel Demczuk. I am raising funds to help pay for the first year of studies at my dream school, the University of Waterloo. I have worked towards that goal since I immigrated to Canada from Poland three years ago. I plan to study Materials Science or enter the double degree program, Computer Science and Business Administration, starting September 2022. However, I have underestimated the costs of education in Canada. Since higher education is free in Poland and the sudden move to Canada, my family did not set up the necessary university savings.

 

This goal is essential to me as it is achieving my dreams. I have always strived for the top and been involved: academic excellence throughout high school (over 95% average), being a competitive swimmer and coach for Oakville Aquatic Club, developing my drawing skills, a student at the Polish School at the Consulate General of Toronto, winning awards in competitions relating to Polish History and Literature, along with helping cultivate Polish culture in Canada.

 

The funds will be used to pay for tuition and residence costs.
