Hello, everyone! My name is Ademi Zhakyp, a junior cancer researcher from Kazakhstan.  In summer 2019, I am going to start a research on Cancer Immunotherapy at Harvard University, Boston, USA.  I need help to cover my living and flight expenses during my stay in Boston; Duration of research: May 5-August 30.

Immunotherapy is treatment that uses your body's own immune system to fight cancer. Therefore, immunotherapy may become an universal treatment for cancer. Patients with types of cancer that have been resistant to radiation and chemotherapy have been treated by currently available immunotherapy methods. 

I am going to study T regulatory cells in cancer. T regulatory cells inhibit body's immune system against cancer. Finding mechanisms how T regulatory cells act in cancer helps to boost immunity against cancer.  Breast cancer, metastatic melanoma, and cervical cancer patients will benefit from my research.
