Dear Friends of the Dream Café,

For years, The Dream Café has been a cherished cultural hub, not only for the Penticton community and the Okanagan Valley but for artists from around the world who thrive on performing in its unique, intimate space. It’s where live music finds a welcoming stage, and where the community can experience the magic of a listening room like no other.

To keep this beloved venue thriving, we’re aiming to raise $20,000 by the end of the year. These funds will cover essential upgrades to equipment, including much-needed fridges and a dishwasher.

Canadian singer-songwriter Mariel Buckley recently shared how crucial venues like The Dream are: *“Venues that curate an intimate, listening crowd with great sound…are a disappearing thing. Now more than ever, we need to protect spaces like this one.”*

With over 200 artists performing here each year, The Dream Café is a rare gem that supports musicians and enriches our community. While we continue to recover from the pandemic and have limited access to grants, we’re turning to our supporters to help secure the future of this special venue.
