The cause
Dream Africa Care Foundation has a shelter in Accra. The shelter provides a safe home for children who for various reasons are unable to live with their parents or other family members. Last week we took in nine children who were living on the street. Now we have a total of 50 children living in our shelter.
We want to make sure all the children are provided with an education, a healthy living environment and a good upbringing.
To be able to provide a healthy environment we are working on finishing 3 more bedrooms and a bathroom.
This is the current situation of the unfinished bedrooms.
We have two caregivers for 50 children and we want to hire another. This will be an underprivileged woman who at the moment has difficulties providing for herself and her baby.
To be able to achieve all of this we need financial help.
Who we are
Dream Africa Care Foundation (DACF) is a Ghanaian NGO founded in 2006. By supporting and implementing sustainable development projects DACF aims to have a positive influence on the lives of underprivileged people in Ghana. DACF's main focus is on education and basic humanitarian needs. Examples of projects the NGO upholds are a shelter in Accra for children, an afternoon education program for children in a fishing village and a soccer training project.
