Hi all. This is Ruger's mom (Sam Atkinson), and I could really use some help covering the costs of Ruger's treatment following a recent accident.

Unfortunately, Ruger's feet can be far faster than his brain and he took a pretty hard tumble off of a rock wall. Because his chin hit first, his spine took the brunt of the fall, leaving him temporarily paralyzed.

So far, the other costs of his emergency care has totaled to over $7,000. We are hopeful that he will not need surgery because he is slowly regaining some movement. However, there is still a possibility of him needing a spinal procedure, which is very costly (approx. $12,000).

With help from family and friends, we are hoping to give him the best chance at getting back on all four paws. It's always hard to ask for help, but any amount of money you could spare would truly mean the world to us. All proceeds will go towards his vet bills.
