It is with an extremely heavy heart that I let you know that my precious momma was lifted into Gods arms at 11:35pm on 12/20/2025. The loss and pain I feel is excruciating, almost unbearable. My rock, confidant, backbone and best friend is gone. No more pain, infections, dialysis. Now you can can have all the coca cola and goodies you want without me “pestering” you. Fly high sweet angel. Until we meet again. I know you will be watching over Mason and I.
I want to say how thankful and blessed I feel for all the calls, txts, and loving messages I’ve received. It has been hard on all of us the last several years, especially the last two weeks. If you knew my mom at all, you knew she was stubborn to a fault. I know that she held on until I could make a peaceful way for God to take her home. It’s been a long 2 years and 28 days that mom has been without her sister. Theres not a doubt in my mind that she was at peace when she took her last breath and crossed over to meet her on the other side.
If you feel compelled at all to help with a donation to assist with bringing her home, I will forever be grateful. Losing my mom is unimaginable but, not being able to fulfill her last wish of bringing her home is indescribable. Please continue to send prayers as we grieve and still try to navigate through this hard time. Life nor Christmas will ever be the same.
Thank you to the entire ICU staff at Texas Health in Ft. Worth and to Heart to Heart Hospice for making this loss a little less difficult. You all are truly amazing and words couldn’t even begin to describe how truly grateful I am on how compassionate and loving you were throughout the entire process.
