Hi, My name is Kian. I am 10 years old and I love dogs. I don't have a dog at the moment, but I hope to have one in the future. I love to draw and follow drawing tutorials on Youtube. I decided last weekend that I wanted to sell drawings to help Pawprints Dog Rescue charity raise a bit of money to help them look after the dogs until they can find them a forever home. It makes me sad to see the dogs without a home, so I really want to help them.

Pawprints have rescued hundreds of dogs that would've otherwise have been put to sleep which is just heartbreaking!

But thanks to their amazing work they have been rescuing these dogs, giving them vaccinations, treating injuries and caring for abused dogs. Then they look after them until they find them a forever home!

Pawprints very much needs more support to be able to keep this amazing work going. Costs have risen so much in recent years. Just one year of vet bills is around £35,000!

So, I sat outside of my house last Saturday for about two hours trying to sell my pictures and hardly anyone walked past as it was quite a cold dull day. Then it started to rain, so I had to come back inside. My mum put a post on our local Facebook group to say I was there and we had so many nice comments and offers of support and even to buy a few of my pictures. I also received a brand new drawing set from a very nice man to help me draw more. I am now busy drawing lots of pictures, some I will color in to sell and others I will draw but leave the coloring so someone else can enjoy coloring it in.

This coming Saturday (25th October) I will again be outside selling my drawings from 11am until 2pm and hopefully with more posts on Social media and sharing images of my pictures beforehand I will actually sell some on the drive.

I have also drawn two pictures of dogs especially to write thank you on to anybody on here that is willing to support me with a donation. Any amount of help is greatly appreciated.

I will be putting 90% of the funds straight to Pawprints and 10% to reinvest in to more drawing pens and paper so I can carry on drawing pictures for them. The pictures with all of the thanks surrounding the dogs will be presented to Pawprints with the funds raised. I'd love to add your name to the thank you pictures!

My dad will be posting pictures of my drawings and of the driveway sales on Social Media and hopefully an update on here again very soon.

We (Myself & Pawprints) are so very grateful for every penny that you can spare towards ensuring that no dog needs to be unnecessarily put to sleep and to make sure they can receive the help and support they need until they find their forever homes.
