My name is Brenda Waite and I am raising funds to help my daughter Ashley Seymour with expenses and lost wages after my grandson Draven was flown from Williston, ND to Sanford Children's Hospital in Fargo, ND on Sunday to undergo emergency surgery for a bowel obstruction.

After days of vomiting, severe stomach pain, and two trips to the ER, the obstruction was discovered and plans were made to immediately fly him to Fargo. Due to this sudden and unexpected turn of events, they were left completely unprepared for multiple days away from home with no clothes, necessities, or even a vehicle for Ashley to go anywhere to purchase these items.

Anyone who knows Draven knows that he is the kindest, most caring little boy you could ever meet. Since the day he was born, it's been him and his hardworking mama making their way through whatever life throws at them.

At this point, it is not certain when he will be released from the hospital. They are hoping for Friday, at the earliest, but because of this, not only is Draven missing his last week of school, but Ashley is missing multiple days of work.

Anything will help, but if you would simply like to send him a card or well wishes, that would more than brighten his day.
