Dra's Study Abroad to Prague

Hello my name is Drakari Donaldson. I currently attend UC Merced and have been offered the opportunity of a lifetime; to study abroad in Prague.
This is a wonderful, exciting, and important opportunity for me to expand my learning experience in a new culture.
Like many immigrant families, my grandparents and mother came to United States to make a better life for their familiy. I am the first of 10 grandchildren to attend and soon to graduate from college. I would like to leave a blueprint through my journey to prove to my younger siblings and family members that there is wealth in education.
My mother has raised me as a single parent for most of my life and I would like to use this time to show my gratitude of all she has instilled in me through her hard work and perserverance to defy all odds.
I am hoping to raise $6,000 from now until January 15th, 2017. Your generous contribution will help me pay for day to day expenses such as; transportation, meals, mandatory day trips, books, and simple pleasures of tourism.
Thank you in advance for your help in making this trip possible but more importantly for helping me be an example to my younger siblings.
There is power in education; wealth in knowledge, and endless possiblities as I complete this race marked for me.
