STEUN MIJN KORTFILM!!

Drie jaar geleden heb ik een interrail reis gemaakt door Europa met m’n beste vriend. Naast alle fantastische momenten, zijn we ook kanten van elkaar tegengekomen die tot heel wat conflict en frustraties hebben geleid. Nadien hebben we besloten onze perspectieven te delen door samen de reis in een scenario te gieten en elkaar zo beter te begrijpen.

Mijn naam is Sem Cuypers, 20 jaar jong en ik zit in m’n derde jaar FILM op Sint-Lukas Brussel. Voor mijn bachelor film wil ik de kans grijpen om met dit verhaal en deze ervaring aan de slag te gaan. Een langspeler maken over die reis is uiteraard de droom, maar dit is de uitgelezen kans om een voorstudie te maken in de vorm van een kortfilm.

De film zal een fictieve adaptatie zijn van de twee dagen in Venetië, het moment waarop het conflict een toppunt bereikte, in een poging het hart en de thematische essentie van de vriendschap in die reis te capteren.

Bij deze een warme oproep naar iedereen die vertrouwen heeft in het project en een centje kan missen. Het geld zal voornamelijk gebruikt worden om cast en crew naar Venetië te vervoeren, het verblijf en de catering. Daarnaast ook nog aan extra kosten zoals materiaal, kostuum, veiligheidsmaatregelen, etc. Het is de eerste keer dat ik iets al dit op poten zet, dus ik ben uiterst benieuwd wat we samen kunnen bereiken :)

Elke donateur krijgt een plaats in de credits, en vanaf de 50 euro bezorgen we jou een poster van de film.

Three years ago, I went on an interrail trip through Europe with my best friend. Besides all the fantastic moments, we also encountered sides of each other that led to a lot of conflict and frustration. Afterwards we decided to share our perspectives by turning the journey into a screenplay to better understand one another.

My name is Sem Cuypers, 20 years old, and I'm in my third year of FILM at Sint-Lukas Brussels. For my bachelor’s film, I want to take the opportunity to work on this story and experience. Making a feature film about the trip is obviously the ultimate goal, but this is the perfect chance to create a pre-study in the form of a short film.

The film will be a fictional adaptation of the two days in Venice, the moment when the conflict reached its peak, in an attempt to capture the heart and thematic essence of the friendship during the trip.

This is a warm call to anyone who can spare a little and has gained trust in this project. The money will mainly be used to transport the cast and crew to Venice, as well as for accommodation and catering. Additionally, there will be other costs such as equipment, costumes, safety measures, etc. This is the first time I’m setting something like this up, so I’m really curious to see what we can achieve together :)
