Hi y’all. My name is Mary and I am starting this gofundme for my jerk sister, Tami. She is the biggest attention seeker ever. She likes to make every one around her lives difficult.

It all started pretty much when she was born. She was tiny and a cry baby. She grew up to be an even bigger cry baby whiny butt.

Several years ago she went to the hospital seeking relief for what she said was a “migraine” and came out with some of the shittiest lungs a 12 carton a day smoker could be proud of and a new boyfriend called oxygen, or O2.

After many months of trips to the special doctors, that is a million miles away from her home. It was determined that she was in desperate need of a lung transplant. Dramatic much. In the mean time she was offered a lung reduction. That would give her a good few years until she would need to be put on the transplant list. And she could dump the boyfriend, O2.

Well, her dramatics caught up with her and her good few years are about up. She suffered a heart attack in Oct 2024 because of the strain her failing lungs were putting on her heart. She was reunited with her old boyfriend, O2. She is now waiting to be taken off the meds from the heart attack and preparing to be put back on the transplant list.

As we all know being dramatic costs money. Once the transplant takes place she will have to relocate for a few months to stay close to the hospital that will be performing the transplant. $$$. After she is able to go home she will still have to make several trips back and forth $$$. And then there’s the transplant itself $$$

This chick is the absolute worst.

In all seriousness though, she is a special kinda lady. She is a good person, kind, and caring. She goes above and beyond for others any time she can. She will go out of her way to help anyone she can. She gives back as much as she can to others in need and never asks or expects anything in return. She is a daughter, a sister, a mother, an aunt, a wife, and friend.

She has done everything her doctors have told her she has to do to be a candidate for a transplant. Insurance will only help for so much. Insurance will not pay for lodging or food while she is relocated. The doctor estimates it will be a 3-4 month relocation. She current lives in upper Michigan, the surgery will take place in lower Michigan, Ann Arbor, which is well over 200 miles apart.

Her husband works as much as he can and takes as much over time as possible to help save for this expense. However, he has and will miss work due to this and it will make things even more tight, financially.

We lost out brother several years ago, complication with diabetes. It was crushing to us all, devastating. I need my sister to be able to win this fight and not have to worry so much about everything and everyone.
