Drakes Crossing Rural Fire Protection District is a volunteer fire department directly involved in the protection of homes and property effected by the Santiam Fire near Silverton, Oregon.  I am Angela Frye, Board Chair for the District.  Support for the District and requests regarding ways to contribute have been overwhelming so this gofundme account has been set up to provide a means to do so.  Funds will be used to support the immediate needs the district has incurred as a result of fighting the Santiam Fire as well as updating apparatus and equipment needs.
