The Full Story
The ultrasound showed twin boys. They’d name them Drake and Kade, welcome additions to their beautiful, growing family.

Abby worked in childcare to provide for their 1-year-old daughter, Annabelle, and to support her husband’s efforts to become a firefighter on top of his full-time day job. As the boys grew, so too did the family’s collective excitement and joy. Near-daily posts were showered in congratulations as friends and family rallied to celebrate.

And this wonderful family needs those rallies now more than ever before.

You see, as the boys grew, complications arose in the 22nd week and God called Kade back home.

Abby and Trevor Rose spread thanksgiving, composure and hope in the sea of their most trying time. Emergency surgeries saved Drake in the womb, but his battle continues as he fights to overcome numerous complications including swollen kidneys, fluid in the brain, potential brain damage and hearing loss.

The Rose family needs our prayers and a communal response to remind them they are not alone.

Let us honor the life of their sons, the selflessness of a righteous family who has, and will continue to serve its community, and let us unite to eagerly anticipate a miraculous hand of grace from our Father.
