I am completely overwhelmed with the outpour of love, prayers and support for my son Drake especially in this uncertain and devastating time we are all experiencing right now. I am truly touch and thankful to each and every single person that has took the time to pray for my son and our family. God is Good. Drake was released from the hospital today. The realization that our world is going to be turned upside down yet again hit me as well as the fear of the huge hospital bills (after Medicaid) and time I will have to take off work hit me too. I have already been so blessed with the posting and sharing of my sons story. This platform was brought to my attention by quite a few people on social media. My sister helped to put this campaign together for Drake's road to Recovery. We know how many parents can relate to our story espicelly in our current lockdown and schools out, so we are donating 2% of all donations to Safe Kids Alabama. Safe Kids Alabama is a non-profit organization who works with an extensive network of more than 400 coalitions in the United States and with partners in more than 30 countries to reduce traffic injuries, drownings, falls, burns, poisonings and more. If Drakes fund meets our goal, we will donate a larger % to the charity and start a college fund for Drake. I will continue to keep everyone updated on Drakes recovery and process every day. Thank you again from the bottom of this Dads heart for the love shown to my son. I am forever grateful.
