Dragonstar KungFu Covid Help

Dragonstar Kungfu is one of the longest running Martial Arts schools in Vancouver. They are a small business run by Sifu Tom and Sifu Benita Byrne. For over 25 years they have been instructing kids and adults instilling self discipline, respect, self defense and confidence into their students. Always quick to smile Sifu Tom has provided a safe and family feel for his students. When students struggling with hardships were worried they wouldn't be able to come to class, he has done right by families and let the kids come until they could get on their  feet again. To the Byrnes it was never about the money, but about the families and community. Now, with Covid, we may not be able to have our beloved school again when the State opens back up. Many students have come and gone, and have come back again... it was always there for you, but this time is different. Lack of classes and diminishing funds have taken it's toll. The small business loans that were taken out at the beginning has hardly touched the rent requirement but they are still persevering.  The school is the Byrnes' livelihood and life. Sifu Tom and Sifu Tommy will be setting up Zoom classes for students if the January deadline is extended.

I and all the Sifu's urge,  if you are a student, or were a student or just want to help a fellow small business make it another month to please help and donate. Possibly even send in what you would if we were still going.  We look forward to teaching but we need to come back to a place to teach you! We appreciate the struggle everyone is going through at this crazy and unprecedented time and if you aren't able to donate, please send a prayer and positive energy.
