Cory is one of those rare people who truly lives out the love of Jesus every single day. Anyone who knows him knows his heart — he is always the first one to show up, pray with you, lend a hand, or quietly bless someone who’s struggling. He has poured so much of his life into helping others, serving his community, and being a light for the Lord wherever he goes.

A few days ago, Cory became extremely sick with pneumonia and had to be hospitalized. Praise God, he was sent home today, but he is still very weak and unable to work. This illness has taken a huge toll not only on his health but also on his family. His wife just started a new job and hasn’t received a paycheck yet, and with two kids at home, the financial pressure has become overwhelming very quickly.

This is a family that would give the shirt off their back for someone else — and many of us have been blessed by their kindness, prayers, and generosity. Now it’s our turn to come together as the body of Christ and lift them up. The Bible tells us to bear one another’s burdens, and right now, this family truly needs their community.
