David Olson

My name is Yisell, and I am organizing this fundraiser for The Olson family.

Here is a statement from the family:

”Our brother, David Olson, was taken from us in a tragic accident in the early morning of October 19th, 2023 when he was struck by a MAX train in Gresham.

David was a light to all those who knew him - a kind heart, always a moment away from a joke and a smile and he lived with a twinkle in his eye.

David was a loving son, brother and uncle to his family. He was taken from us too early, and the family is asking for prayers and privacy during this difficult time. He will be missed by his parents, brother, two sisters and their families, including two young nieces and a nephew who loved him dearly.

We are devastated by the loss, and in shock that he’s gone. David brought warmth to all of us.

As a family we aren’t prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We are asking for donations to help offset the cost of laying our brother to rest in the way he deserves, to honor his memory and say goodbye.

David may be gone from this life, but he will always live in our hearts.”
